1. About BeAgric

BeAgric (beagric.com) is run by Benovate Ltd, company number 14364852, registered office 61 Bridge Street, Kington, HR5 3DJ. Contact: hello@beagric.com.

BeAgric gives growers tools to plan, record and check their crops, and a marketplace where growers sell produce to buyers nearby.

2. Your account

• You must be 18 or over to hold an account.
• Give accurate details and keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
• Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
• You can close your account at any time in account settings.

3. The marketplace

When you buy on BeAgric, you buy directly from the grower. The contract for the produce is between you and the grower, not with Benovate Ltd. Growers are responsible for what they sell, its description, its safety and getting it to you. Growers who sell must also accept our grower and seller terms.

BeAgric checks new growers before their shop can go live and may remove listings or shops that break these terms. We do not inspect produce, so please contact the grower first if there is a problem with an order. If you can't sort it out, tell us and we will help.

4. Orders, prices and payment

• Prices are set by the grower. Delivery fees depend on the grower's delivery areas and are shown before you order.
• If you pay by card, payment is taken by Stripe and passed to the grower, less BeAgric's fee. If you choose to pay on collection or delivery, you pay the grower directly.
• You can cancel an order until the grower accepts it.
• Fresh produce goes off quickly, so the usual 14-day right to cancel for online purchases does not apply to it. Your other legal rights are not affected: produce must match its description and be fit to eat. If it isn't, contact the grower, who should offer a refund or replacement.

5. Paid plans

Growers can choose a paid plan for extra features. Plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and keep the plan until the end of the period you have paid for. Prices and what each plan includes are shown on the plans page. We will give at least 30 days' notice of any price change.

6. Plant checks, advice and guides

Plant checks use an AI model and are a guide, not a diagnosis. The model can be wrong, and every result shows how confident it is. Weather alerts, planting advice and growing guides are general information. Use your own judgement, and ask an expert before acting on anything important, especially before using any treatment or deciding produce is safe to eat.

7. What you post

• You keep ownership of the photos and text you post. You allow us to show them on BeAgric and to use plant photos to improve our plant-check model, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
• Only post things that are true, that you have the right to share, and that are not offensive, misleading or illegal.
• Reviews must be honest and based on a real order.
• We may hide or remove content that breaks these terms, and suspend accounts that repeatedly do so.

8. Using the site fairly

Don't try to break, overload or copy the site, scrape other people's details, or use BeAgric to send spam.

9. Our responsibility to you

We work hard to keep BeAgric running and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We are not responsible for produce sold by growers, or for losses caused by relying on plant checks, advice or guides. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and email account holders about important changes. If you keep using BeAgric after a change, you accept the new terms.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
